"Cserpent is a Melbourne based artist. She likes to draw sweet little axe-wielding Victorian girls, debauched flappers and bicycle riding gents. Influences include Aubrey Beardsley, Tim Burton and the wonderful Edward Gorey, as well as Victorian and 1920-50s fashions. Cserpent can be found drawing madly and attempting to finance her "fabulous dresses fund" by flogging cards, prints & brooches besmirched with her wicked illustrations."
